Where are the hands and the position of the bat at footplant with most of the great hitters? Just spent a couple of hours checking out some of the greats and it is interesting, because even though they have different styles, they are all very similar at footplant.

I think you can have the hands back yet not in the correct position.It is more about loading the upper body and when done properly the hands end up in a similar location.I have found this to be a problem in many parts of hitting and instructing it.What makes sense to you as an instructor can be misunderstood as a student doing the same thing.
