George,

You are giving your hitters paralysis from analysis. Way too much info to take into the box when trying to hit.

If your hitters can't hit a hanging off-speed pitch up in the zone when looking for a fastball, then they need a NEW more balanced and controlled approach.

I'm sorry but if you are trying to think about how the pitcher and catcher are attacking you than you sir are guessing.

Guessing is the road to nowhere.

What happens when the pitcher misses his spot? He tried to go away but missed in. You guessed correctly away and got busted in by a mistake.

Look for a pitch to drive from gap to gap and if it doesn't come...take it. Look for a pitch in the zone in the big part of the plate and have an approach that can cover different speeds (be balanced). This is how to use the whole field. Work off the middle half of the plate and give the pitcher the corners.
