Re: fly outs to line drives

Posted by: Coach C () on Wed Jun 18 06:52:29 2003

i play high school baseball and right now am hitting balls sky high into the air that are goin to the warning track...if i could level my swing off or something i would be hitting huge homeruns. what things can i do to stop popping up and start hitting more linedrives?

Start addressing your grip. Experiment with moving the knuckles around and placing the bat more in the fingers or more in the palms. Go from one extreme to another in practice and see if that changes the ball flight. My grip changes everything.

Respectfully,

Coach C
