Jack,

No, but the instructor should point out and explain that many of the details within the swing are not to have emphasis.

Hitting coaches should definitely show the player what the final product or a good swing should look like. However, it is very important that they are clear that most of it happens naturally when the basic fundamentals are occuring in the proper way.
