Did you know that 20 years ago (1987) the best MLB team batting average
was .278 (Boston).

Did you also know that the 2007 best MLB team batting average was .290 (New York)

Did you know that the 2006 best MLB team batting average was .289

Did you know that the top 25 individual batting averages in 1987 ranged between .289 and .363

Did you know that the top 25 individual batting averages in 2007 ranged between .300 and .363

Where do you see MLB averages going down because of the "buggy whip"??

Maybe your WHITE SOX suck but thats no reason to mislead your students about Big League hitters in general.
