Happy New Year <<<

Hi Teacherman

A Happy New Year to you also. – I am sure you can (and do) accelerate the bat-head rearward while holding your shoulders back. However, as I mentioned to Graylon below, I bet a video of your swing will show that once the bat has arrived at the launch position (behind your head), from that point on, your shoulders will be rotating to rotate your hands around to contact.
