Rotational shmotational...the surge in HR's can be directly attributed to the fact that everyone was using Easton's new Synergy composite bats. With the short fences, the speed the ball is coming in + the hot composite bat's flex and trampoline effect, they just need to get the bat in the path of the ball.

Hey Mr. Rotational shomational:

OK - since you know exactly what is going on, let's see the stats. Show us who is using that bat now and how it has affected their home run numbers. You are so certain that one factor alone has caused the home run surge, show us the statistics that prove it. When was the bat first used? What happened to the numbers at that point? No blanket statements. Bring forth the evidence and let the folks at this site have at it. And stop hiding behind your anonymity - it diminishes your crediblity.
