Higher hands..bad swing? A question..please respond! Posted by: Troy (kidmanss7@webtv.net) on Fri Jul 7 00:49:19 2000 Is it bad to develope a higher hand i.e. derek jeter? i ve noticed my hands are quiet high while waiting for a pitch, i lower it some going into the "launch position" but is having it too high bad? I know when u first start ur swing when ur hands should be "by ur armpits" mine are still a little high, more like shoulder high, is this effecting my batspeed?
