Bat Recommendation

My daughter is 12 years old and is playing ASA/NSA Fastpitch. She is currently using a Louisville Gen X 30"/20oz (-11) bat. When hitting with this bat there is an exaggerated amount of re-coil when contact is made resulting in weak hits (unless it is hit on the button). I have hit with this bat and it appears to feel less solid then other heaver bats.
Is there a -11 bat on the market that has a larger hitting area and a more solid feel then the Gen X.
