REMEMBER MASS X SPEED = ENERGY. so just like throwing a pitch, push off your back leg & get your body mass going forward.. the faster, the greater the energy you are generating toward the ball..to stand stock still with no forward motion means you are generating NO energy whatsoever!!! HELLO?!?!?! “

To say that since the development of forward momentum is required in pitching, it must also be true for hitting is misleading. Keep in mind that in hitting, forward movement of the body ceases at foot-plant and the batter rotates about a stationary axis. Whereas, in pitching, the upper-body continues to move forward after foot-plant and the pitcher rotates about a forward tilting axis.

NOT!!

George,
I've said it before and I'll say it again you have no clue.
You say to push off the back leg to generate as much force going forward as possible, but then you have said to keep your front foot closed and don't open your front hip allow the back side force it open. HOW!!! If I'm pushing with a lot of force into a blocked front hip I will just push my front hip forward. The forward motion of pushing with my back leg can not change the direction of my front hip. My hips would be sliding and not turning. Now if you allow your weight to shift forward while your front hip is clearing, now you can take the linear motion into rotational energy. I hate using analogies but, if you were to put your hands on my chest and push straight at me and I stood there and you pushed square against my chest I would go straight back, because the energy is in a straight line. Now if you were to do the same thing and I moved off center right before you pushed I would then be able to redirect your energy around my body. So now think of the front hip as me and the forward motion as you, if I clear or "off center" my front hip prior to the forward movement then that energy can be redirected as rotational energy.
You talk about physics but yet you say don't allow your hands to move prior to going. I believe Jimmy mentioned an object in motion will stay in motion. How much sense does it make to start from a dead stop. I forgot your going to use gravity to get it going.
Although I do not agree with everything Jack sees but I agree with a lot less of what you say. Keep your head in the sand and go against what the greatest do. If you wanted to be a millionare would you listen to the guy who has earned millions or to the guy who hasn't?
