As an update to my post on Tuesday, 29th, regarding an attempt to improve my hitting by use of the rotation/fixed axis method, here is my report. I downloaded much of the instructional information and attempted to incorporate the "rotation" doctrine taught by Mr. Mankin into my batting technique. The results were "ASTONISHING".

I play on a softball team, and am always placed at the bottom of the batting order because of lack of production. I normally ground out to one of the infielders, and occasionally hit a bloop single. I always try to get full extention, and sometimes hit out to the warning track (305 ft). . . Last night, using the axis-rotation method, I grouded out twice, hit a screaming single, two doubles, a triple off the fence, and a Frozen-Rope home run during our double header. Even the guys on the other team were wondering what had gotten into me! Our coach just shook his head because I was using a regular 26 oz bat!

All of that, and I never extended my right arm beyond the "L" position, and I actually moved closer to the plate!
Get this. . . After incorporating the axis-rotation. Needless to say, I'm sold on Mr. Mankin's teachings. . Can't wait to see what happens when I really get some practice using it. Watch Out! !
