I'm sure he does and his knee is bent slightly and watch his front hip it rotates all the way back towards the catcher. Texeria does the same thing. Many hitters doe that but there are many hitter who's front foot faces the pitcher because of the same reason. When it comes down to it it is all about front hip rotation that matters.
