Jimmy,

It really isn't that complicated. My explanation may seem complicated because of my ability to explain with the written word. But to me the front toe naturally wants to land slightly open, at about a 45 degree angle, to try and keep it closed you have to force the heel forward. Which to me is not a natural relaxed move.
