I think the best way of demonstrating iobjectively the "jump start efficiency" is in terms of expected speed gains of each arc as via Zig's motionanalysis type data. The xfactor stretch is associated with efficient speed gains/summation of levers/summation of velocity via the kinetic chain or kinetic link model as opposed to overrotating the proximal hip/shoulder links or letting the transmission slip as you have described it.
Good transfer mechanics enable a sharp quick end of loading/stretch/cusp AND efficient speed gains/transformation of load into bathead angular acceleration.
