Tom,early success

Tom,I used the bat on the shoulder to start idea with great success from my daughter. It allowed her after 25 swings or so to get the feel of being connected from not dropping the hands early. The other linear cues have appeared to to help immensely now and we are actually achieving at least to some degree a nice rotational swing with great quickness and speed. She also has a much better level swing and seldom misses no matter how hard I throw it.Would it hurt for me to throw overhand sitting down since I think I could be more accurate and faster with bp.The only problem seems to be the i.s. pitch she sometimes get jammed on since I took the front shoulder away from her for now and she can't hook the hand path.At some point when she has nailed her success down with this system of keeping the front shoulder down and in, small step skimming the ground down and in toward pitcher, bat pressed to shoulder head staying still touching front shoulder, I well bring the front shoulder back to her but I think we can get the handpath back with work without thinking front shoulder. She has lost her high foot lift ,landing flat footed [now toe 1st]rear elbow dropping prematurely and head pulling out,yet she looks quite rotational in a good way now.It is still early only 2 practices and no games yet but she has new found confidence and believes she can hit now,and says she can see the ball in the contact zone now[maybe not as we have read though].Let me know if their is something to add,I had forgot of the bat on shoulder idea since it had been 3 years since I used it with my son.
