Re: Deleted Threads

We have repeatedly affirmed our position that such threads may be removed to keep the focus on baseball and softball (primarily batting mechanics), rather than chat room style rhetoric, harassment, degrading of others or just plain bickering back and forth. Therefore, when posts/thread degenerates into this type of conduct, the entire thread may be removed for the betterment of the board. Past experience has shown us that merely removing a few posts usually does not solve anything.

This may not be an appropraite example, but I think Batspeed is getting like America after 9-11. I read all of those threads, and they were very tame compared to what was previously considered chat room style bickering. And they were removed way faster than previous threads that were 10 times worse. In my opinion, Batspeed is being a little to cautious, maybe over cautious like American got. Besides, Zig said that was his last post, so the arguement is over. I only wish that Zig would have stayed longer, now that he FINALLY began to describe and interpret his data. Which is all anyone ever asked.
