Zig, I feel that if Santiago hit .300 and had 30 HR's it would still not make any difference in how they pitch to Bonds. They could have Sosa hitting behind Bonds and he will still walk 150 times. Benito offers no protection at all and never has. He is a very good catcher who provides power once in a while. Bonds is the best and teams are afraid of him and it doesn't matter who hits behind him.
