Low lead elbow/shoulder
My daughter has been swinging in games with her lead elbow about waist high.
When we practice on the tee and soft toss, she keeps the elbow/shoulder up
where it needs to be. But on live pitching, pitching machine, and games she
drops it low, so she hits weak infield line drives and grounders.
We have been using the Perfect Connextion and the punching bag, trying to
build muscle memory, 50-100 swings a day, depending on what else we're
doing that day. At first it seemed to help, but it hasn't. Working on the tee
hasn't helped, either.
I noticed last tournament that she is hiding her hands shoulder high instead of
ear high. Could this cause the low shoulder/elbow? Or is that a separate
issue?
Other mechanics are good, back arm, lower body.
We are desperate for help, she's a junior and in front of college scouts, got to
get this fixed.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
