Re: Most Common Problems

What would the list of most common problems for 12-16 year olds include when talking rotational hitting mechanics?

I consider the most common problem and first to fix is the 'stride swing'. The hitter pulls his body open by reaching with the front foot and lands that foot flat and open at the end of the stride.
Instead they need to stride to balance, then rotate with the hips into front foot down. If this is not corrected, proper rotation, connection and timing cannot happen.
