SMiller,
You mentioned a drill with the top hand reversed. I tried it out with a couple of hitters that I have been helping, and I must say I love that drill. The speed generated is surprising, and it really exposes them if they pull the shoulder out early. I want to make sure I am explaining it right: I had them flip the top hand so it was palm facing out, and the bat sort of rested in the second knuckles. I also told the hitters to throw the hand at the pitcher.
Not sure if it went exactly like you use it, but thanks for the drill.

One more thing, when you say 'negative move' is that the same as loading?
