HAS your son been taught to swing down on the ball?
Trying to hit ground balls .
If thats the case have him upper cut a little to match the plane of the desending ball Both pitching coaches and hitting coaches teach that ground balls are the way to go. So one of them must be wrong I say the hitting coach is wrong.
