Mark and Tom,

My reaction was not because I am opposed to challenges, but merely an expression of dissappointment with people who attack concepts and principles of without foundation, merely for the sake of negatively impacting the education of others. In other words, I have read the posts of the two gentleman (loosely) who constantly attack the genuine questions of people who want to learn for the purposes of passing on what they learn to the athletes whether it is their child or those of others. And it gets old.
>
> Tom the answer to your question is a simple one. There certain biomechanical and physics principles that are inherent in human movement. We have an ideal model range. Meaning the best of the best fall within certain postural and physical parameters in reference to their bat acceleration, deceleration, posture, flexiblity, wrist angle, spine angle and numerous other swing aspects. Download our viewer and I will email you a near perfect swing of a high school athlete I captured last night.

> You will see what I mean. While I cannot assure you of the certainty of Jack and Mike and myself. What is undisputable is the data that we have collected.
>
> We will succeed in educating many who want to be educated. Those who do not will watch and follow and claim they discovered it by themselves. All the while, they will be studying closely Jack's video tapes. Telling their athletes and those around them that they figured out for themselves. And believe me, I hope they figure it out. Jack, Mike, myself and many other like you will continue to search for the answers. Experimenting with how can we best communicate it to the athletes.

> So don't take my comments to Dan and Teacher?, as being impolite. They were the only way you can get to some people. They were the bad kids (class clowns) in school always looking for attention. If they were in a class, I would challenge them to let me hook them up and show me what they think happens in the swing. Or send me your best student (the one who does exactly what they teach.) and we will measure the results. I have no fear of challenge.
>
> When we first finished our initial findings we thought this is great, coaches will want the information and athletes will too. But you know how that goes, the athlete wants to be fixed and the coach says that not the way I teach. Well if its wrong, fix it.
>
> If you don't believe what I see in Mark's swing, that's okay. But take a very close look at how his leg rotation begins. This is not physics but exercise physiology and kinesiology. Is his movement from glute/hip extension or from rotating his back knee and driving it towards the other leg (internal rotators/hip flexors. Everyone who has ever known Mark or Jim Lefevere know exactly what Mark was taught. And it was exactly what we have all thought about the swing.
>
> Its not about me being right. Its about what's right for the athlete and what they are doing. I don't post here as part of our marketing campaign, only to help answer a few questions. But don't take away from the other students learning. I learn more from your questions and answers just like I hope you do from mine.
>
> Millions of coaches in this world don't have to buy my books or videos. Because I have chosen to help athletes. And there are plenty of them who are willing to be the best athletes they can be.
>
> Tom, I have enjoyed your posts. They were always driven by the search for the truth.
>
> Good luck to all of you and best wishes to your athletes.

Zig

You may not think you lost your cool but you did. Say what you want about me. But your attack on Major Dan is unfounded. Your outburst toward him is totally off base. Is it because he has enough knowledge to challenge you? And if he does, why would someone as sure as you appear to be care? Is it because you're not sure? He's clearly one of the most knowledgeable posters on this site. He's almost always "overly" respectful to the posters. Even the stupid questions.

I would sense Tom's comments on your unacknowledged uncertainty are pretty close to the truth.
