Cause and effect is still tricky with computer aided visuals.

It's easy to confuse reactive forces with causation.

The back foot is often seen to drag in reaction to the good sequential transfer of energy to the torso as the hip rotation decelerates.

It helps to remember that the ballistic event can be adjusted less and less and only at its margins to affect the trajectory of the sweetspot.
