Re: Jack, what have you done!

>>>I have applied some of your theories to my softball swing and I have to say that it is costing me dearly. I practice at a field that is 310' with about 75-100' of clearing then there is deep forest. Recently, I have been hitting alot of balls that are coming to rest in the forest, which lies my problem. I can't go and retrieve the balls because I am terribly allergic to poison ivy.(It is all over in there.) So I'm out $4 each time one goes in there. I figure I've lost $200+ dollars because of the extra 50' I'm getting on my hits.<<<

Dear Ed

Batspeed.com feels terrible about the loss of your balls but does not find that we are in any way liable for their cost. Our very limited warranty in no way implies, suggests or guaranties that ball flights exceeding 450 ft. will not occur. Therefore, we feel it is solely the responsibility of the batter to retrieve, clean and repair all balls hit that distance. We would also like to point out that driving the top hand forward as you initiate the swing or following the advise of some of the other sites would greatly reduce your long ball flight problem. If you persist in using the mechanics as outlined on this site, you must also accept all responsibility for damage to persons, property and wildlife outside the confines of the ballpark.

Sincerely,

Jack Mankin
