If you are in Texas, you might look up Ron Wolforth from pitchingcentral.com (Spring,Texas).

Ron has a pitching center there. He recently put out a pitching video including himself,Paul Nyman and Brent Strom(who works with Tom House some). The consensus was that over the years,overly/poorly structured coaching has taken the athleticism out of pitching(pause at balance point/go to high cock/rotate late,etc.).They are now getting good results in putting the athletcism back in.

Now when it comes to removing athleticism from a skill, there is nothing like the typical linear teaching in fastpitch, abetted by the high profit super light use once and throw away bats(only a slight exaggeration).

Understanding good mechanics and how motor learning occurs are important for coaches who want to resist this trend.
